This month in World Art Monthly we are focusing our time on New York Fine Art Dealer, Mirek Klabal of Greenwich Connecticut. Recently Klabal launched his own clothing line in conjunction with Mary Stratford, of Stratford and Sons. Klabal and Stratford met at a charity event in Scotland four years back and quickly became friends. Mrs. Stratford, already a renowned fashion designer in Italy and France thought the classy Mr. Klabal would fair well in Italy and France. She was quoted as saying, “The man’s a style genius. Who can resist a man with a pension for pink collar shirts? I know I can’t. Real men wear pink, a lot of it…very often.”
Sure it may take a while for the United States to catch up with the pink ideal, but we’re not really sweating it. We’re a nation of dollar signs and Mirek Klabal knows quite a bit about them. Next month Stratford and Klabal are kicking off their first European tour of their clothing line. Featured models include Rickie Timber, Claudia Brown, and the ever growing, ever famous Katherine Boss (her scandal hasn’t ruined her career!).
The tour will consist of the pair traveling around Europe promoting their new line. They do plan to do an American tour, but not quite yet. We’re always behind in the times. So, if you want to gain more information on who’s who in the Klabal Stratford Design Company, email us with your information.
